We had a great 4th of July.  I woke up early and started working on some of the small curvy clutches that I had previously cut

 then went to hang out with a friend at the pool for a little while.  Which gave me an opportunity to finally try out the beach bag that I made last year.  I used a pattern from Amy Butler's Style Stitches book and Michael Miller fabrics. 

Kale had his first adventures in the pool...

And as you can see it didn't go too well :)  We're going to give it another try this weekend. 

I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as I had hoped but maybe this weekend will be more productive.
